Rick and Donna Moore

With over 40 years of combined experience performing throughout Florida, Rick and Donna bring their talents and expertise in character development and staged violence to our cast. They have created and brought to life a wide variety of characters for many venues including Faires, festivals, plays, and film documentaries, as well as corporate and private events. As founding members of MASK (Melbourne Academy of Staged Kombat) they are well versed in all aspects of staged violence and theatrical disciplines. They have studied under many Fight Directors and Certified Instructors from The SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors). It is their goal to bring the art of staged violence to our little part of the world with hopes that our students and associates will likewise spread their love for the art. As they like to say.... There’s always time for a good fight!

Gabriel Walden-Oliveira

At Brevard Renaissance Fair, you will find Gabriel on the Bard Stage playing Lysander, Francis Flute The Bellows Mender, and the fabulously beautiful Thisby in Bard Lite’s production of Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Gabriel sings professionally with Olde Tyme Carolers, is a World Champion Hip-Hop Dancer (Extreme AllStars!), and plays at least a little piano, guitar, ukulele, drum kit, and bass. He has been acting since he was a toddler and has no plans to quit. In his spare time, Gabriel studies Astronomy and Astrophysics.

Debra Thornton

BRF Admin & Casting Team; Director, Co-Writer, and Performer with Bard Lite Condensed Shakespeare Company;
Director, Youth in Harmony.

At the Brevard Renaissance Fair, you will see her on the Bard Stage as Puck in Midsummer Night’s Dream, as Archimedes in The Sword & The Stone, and engaging in musical merrymaking with the Youth in Harmony in various locations throughout
the day.

Debra performed in both her first opera and her first Shakespeare play at the age of 11 and was hooked for life. Credits include Washington Opera (DC), Bronx Opera, Caramoor Opera, New York Ensemble for Early Music, Bachworks, Maryland Camerata, Phoenix Repertory Dance Company, and Dimensions Dance Company, among others. She has toured nationally and internationally. Here in Brevard, she runs Youth in Harmony, which offers Music Classes for Newborn through Adults, Prenatal Yoga, Mom & Baby Yoga, and Kids Yoga. Riley H.

Actor, Bard Lite; Singer & Dancer, Youth in Harmony

At Brevard Renaissance Fair, Riley appears as a Fairy in Bard Lite’s Midsummer Night’s Dream as well as engaging with audience children in The Sword and The Stone. She will be singing and dancing with Youth in Harmony in various locations throughout
the day.

Riley has been performing as a singer, dancer, and actor since she was 4 years old. At 10, she is a seasoned “Rennie Kid” in her 5th year of Renaissance Fair performances. She also dances competitively around the U.S.

Mike Mellen

When he isn’t doing nerdy computer things to pay the bills, Mike can be found hanging out at local community theaters, where he volunteers as an actor, lighting and sound technician and director, and with the Brevard Theatrical Ensemble as a storyteller. Mike will be spending most of his Faire days on the Bard’s Stage in the Bard Lite productions of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The Sword in the Stone”, and as a part of the Fearless Improv Brigade. When not on stage, he’ll be wandering around as Lector Makeright, the village tinker.

Eldona Mellen

Eldona Mellen or, The Lady Elda is back for her 2nd year at the Brevard Renaissance Fair. As part of our Administrative Committee, she facilitates promotional events and our Renaissance Weddings. Don’t be surprised to see her on The Bard Lite Stage as Titania or in the lanes doing some matchmaking.

Nicole C. Dunn

Nicole C. Dunn is a Texas native and cosplayer who is joining the Brevard Renaissance cast for the first time this year as Lady Clareisse Lafayette. She has always loved renaissance fairs since she was a toddler. Nicole enjoys sewing her own costumes, prop fabrication, swing dance and playing her flute/piccolo in various orchestras. When she is not running around under her cosplay name Jennifer SwiftBlood, she is a professional photographer and a full time electrical engineering student.

Cathalina Liebel – Stage Manager

Aside from her 5 years of both performance and production experience in the Renaissance Faire industry, she is also a 16th generation circus performer, published author and ballroom dancer.

We are extremely pleased and fortunate that she has lent us her expertise for the Brevard Renaissance Fair.

Chelsea Hensley as Elinor Silver

Chelsea has been around theater her entire life, as her father was a director and drama instructor. Currently, she is an artist and cosplayer. She has been cosplaying for over 3 years but has been creating since she was little. She now specializes in 3D foam creature builds. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in metal smithing and ceramics.

Chris Jones as Sir William Kingston, Captain of the Guard

Chris Jones has performed many different characters throughout his rein at renaissance faires/festivals. He is very happy to be performing at the Brevard Renaissance Fair.

Dama (Day) Moore as Eleanor Clifford, Countess of Cumberland

Dama's a second-generation renaissance fair performer from South Florida who has worked at fairs her whole life in various jobs, positions, and characters. She has also done various traditional and musical theater productions working various positions in each. Dama has worked at the Brevard Renaissance Festival since its first year and is excited to continue the tradition as a part of the cast this year.

Dave Milo as Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk

Dave is a former New York City actor and teacher who is delighted to join the cast of the Brevard Renaissance Fair as Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.

Dave spent ten years at the New York Renaissance Faire, playing such roles as Admiral Howard, Shakespeare, and Robin Hood. He is grateful to have worked and trained with many Fight Directors, Certified Instructors, and Fight Masters of the SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors) while living in New York City. He continues to teach, as well as write, remotely as he travels across the country, sharing his love of the English language with students around the world.

Eldona Mellen as Grandmother Fairy

A familiar in Brevard theatre for many years Eldona has been with The Brevard Renaissance Fair since it’s inception 6 years ago.  She has acted in several different roles with the BRF including the fairy queen in a Midsummer Night’s Dream and Philippa of Hainault Queen to Edward III).  Often her role is behind the scenes serving as a costume advisor and in differing administrative roles.   It is with great joy that she welcomes everyone to the 6th annual Brevard Renaissance Fair as she brings to life “Grandmother Fairy”.   This is Grandmother’s first year at the fair, be kind.   Huzzah!

Hannah Everette as Millicent “Millie” Edwards Town Crier

Hannah has been involved with theater especially musical theater since she was a young girl. She has also participated in community theater and this is her first Renaissance Fair. She is so excited to be a part of Space coast Renaissance Fair 2021!

Kara Tingley as Lady Lucy Somerset

Kara has been involved in theatre since 2002 and in Renaissance faires, festivals, and interactive theatre since 2004. Over the years she has portrayed many characters and held many positions including street cast, choral director, and cast director. She has performed at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire, the Pennsylvania, and the Brevard Renaissances Faire, and with Noble Art Theatre Company. Kara is excited to be a part of the premier season of the Brevard Renaissance Fair.

Lauren Winigrad as Mary Rose Tudor Brandon

Lauren is thrilled to be joining the cast of the Brevard Renaissance Fair as Mary Tudor Brandon, Queen of France.
Although she is no stranger to 16th century England, Lauren spent the last decade living and acting in New York City. Her most notable roles are Anne Bonny at the New York Renaissance Faire and Yves in The Unmaking of Toulouse-Lautrec (Off-Broadway). She is a certified Advanced Actor Combatant with the SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors). She has been assistant fight director for Broadway productions, Be More Chill and Fairview. She holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Lauren left NYC last year and is now living tiny in a big renaissance world. She can’t wait to revel in mirth and prosperity with the inhabitants and honored guests of the Brevard Renaissance Fair

Mike Mellen - Lector Maekreit, Tinker

Mike has been involved with the Brevard Renaissance Fair since its beginning and is part of both the cast and administrative team. When he isn’t doing nerdy computer things to pay the bills, he can be found hanging out at local community theaters, where he volunteers as an actor, improv troupe member, lighting and sound technician and director. He will be spending part of his Faire days on the Bard Stage in the Bard Lite productions, and the rest repairing patrons' broken possessions.

Hugo Hidal as Thomas Auldey, Lord Chancellor of England

Has been participating in Renaissance festivals for over 20 years as a patron and a member of several demonstration groups.  2005 to 2013 with a siege engine group and as leader of his own Viking reenactment group, Huginsborg Viking Trading Encampment from 2016 to 2018. He has also portrayed several characters from the 16th-Century to the 18th Century at other festivals as well.

Jake Mullaney as William Barber, the Barber Surgeon’s Assistant

Jake began his acting career at the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival in 2017. He continued to work for the festival and decided to crown it his home. He then added the West Virginia Renaissance Festival to his circuit and began to find more festivals to extend his talents. After a successful run at the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival, Jake is more than thrilled to have the opportunity to reprise his role once again, at the Brevard Renaissance Fair. During the week, Jake works alongside the site crew to help build and maintain the festival grounds.

Jamie Wade as Princess Mary, daughter to Henry VIII

From performing to costume design, Jamie has been involved in theatre since 2010. She has performed at the Florida Renaissance Festival, Camelot Days, and Boynton Beach Pirate Festival, and was ecstatic to be a part of the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival team, and now to do all again, for the Brevard Renaissance Fair! In her spare time, she works as a Cosplay repair nurse at several conventions in South Florida.

Lady Ophelia More as the Lady Mayor of Wickhamshire

Lady Ophelia has been performing since childhood. She has performed various roles at Renaissance Faires/festivals throughout the Country, as well as on stage, television, and film. Queen, Mayor, Town Crier, and Lady Ophelia’s Dance are some of her favorite roles. She has many directing credits to her name and is thrilled to have directed such an extremely talented company of performers, and all-around group of wonderful people. After completing a highly successful show at the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival, she is thrilled to do all again for the Brevard Renaissance Fair!

Michael Cicci as Sir Anthony Browne, Master of the Horse to the King

Michael Cicci has been attending Renaissance Festivals since he was a small child. He started volunteering at the Florida Renaissance Festival as a teenager for community service hours in high school. It was there that he found his passion for this amazing world. From there he started developing characters of different eras in history that can be seen from Pirate festivals, Siege weapons encampments and other Renaissance Festivals.

Michael Murphy as Sir George Silver, Fight Master

Michael Murphy has been a stuntman and actor for 15 years. Specializing in horsemanship and swordsmanship, he has appeared in several dinner theater productions in Orlando and several independent movies. Michael will be reprising his role as Sir George Silver, where he just completed a successful run performing at the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival. He is looking forward to being a part of the Brevard Renaissance Fair!

Rick and Donna Moore as Gotsome GoodAle and Wantsom GoodAle

With over 40 years of combined experience performing throughout Florida, They have created and brought to life a wide variety of characters for many venues including Faires, festivals, plays, and film documentaries, as well as corporate and private events.

Rina Adams – Dance Fiddler

She is handsome, she is pretty, she is the belle of Hillsboro county! Rina is a gypsy at heart and a dragon in disguise, gifted with the talent of crafting. She is a mother to four hell hounds and a naga whilst also being the wife of a wandering king slayer. When she is not busy mastering her craft, she can be found traveling with The Black Velvet Band and other local aristocrats. Her love of music spans past two decades and she loves what she does. Be wary though, her charm can lead to your demise.

Robert Workman as Richard Lindsey, Artist

This is Robert's first time as cast. Robert has worked in encampments for 8 years. He started out doing black powder, stunt, and pyrotechnics show at the Florida Renaissance Festival in Deerfield. Several pirate festivals and even acted as Peter Pan for children's benefits events.

Sabrina Cotter as Princess Elizabeth, daughter to Henry VIII

Sabrina has been involved with Renaissance faires/festivals since 2014.  Sabrina has performed at the Florida Renaissance Festival as well as the Boynton Beach Pirate Festival. She is very excited to add the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival, and The Brevard Renaissance Fair to her list. Sabrina has a Bachelors in Technical Theatre, with a concentration on costume design.

Sam Kelly as Jane Lumley, Baroness/English Translator

Sam has been with the Brevard Renaissance Fair since 2018 working in different occupations, including actor, game manager, and shopwork, she is returning as a member of the cast this year. When not performing, Sam likes to read, write, fire dance, play D&D, and kayak, among her multitude of other half-finished hobbies.

Timothy Fraley as King Henry VIII

Timothy is a classically trained professional actor. He has been in theater from childhood and has been performing at faires and festivals for decades, portraying a wide range of memorable and unique interactive characters. With his background in stage, environmental theater, and history, whether bringing emperors, kings, dukes, popes, heroes or villains to life, his singular talents and gracious style have made him a festival favorite from the southernmost tip of Florida to the shores of the Great Lakes, and places in between.

Victoria Blumberg as Elizabeth Downing, Artist

Victoria grew up in New York where she fell in love with the New York Renaissance Faire.  After moving to Florida Victoria her mother Priscilla and two daughters Jessica and Jordyn, "Peasants Got Talent" joined the Brevard Renaissance Fair. Her first character was Fable Mabel The Storyteller. This will be Victoria's third Renaissance Fair and she is looking forward to being performing in her new role as Elizabeth Downing the Artist.

Zach Viola as Elias Sowers, the Barber Surgeon

Zach first found acting in 2009, involved in a handful of shows and small independent films in late high school and early college. He lost it for a number of years before finding his way to the New York Renaissance Faire in 2018, as well as the Sun Coast Renaissance Fair in 2020, and now, happily, to the Brevard Renaissance Festival. From the lanes of the Sun Coast Renaissance Festival, to now the Brevard Renaissance Fair, Zach is thrilled to be reprising his role as Elias Sowers once again. In the meantime, he attends classes in dance and voice, to hone his skills, as well as many a year as Dungeon Master in the wild worlds of Dungeons and Dragons.
